142 Howard: Talked about water issues at his house and that he believes that it is a city issue and wants compensation for a new water heater. He believes it to be a city issue due to the previous owner building over the old septic system that is now starting to sink in. Stated that his water heater is still working just not as well as it did prior to his basement flooding. He also states that he is having so much water come towards his house due to it running off the gulleys in the Squiers yard, and that his big septic tank and LP tank are in their yard.
City council members believe that his water issues are more from the lack of slope in the landscaping around his house and the fact that there are no gutters on the house that are causing him to get water in his basement. He also discussed his issues with the cats in town and that the city needs to get rid of the cats because he talked to health department and allegedly, they told him that cat excrement is toxic. He has bought a live trap to start bringing cats out of town to be meals for coyotes. Also stated that the sheriff told him after his dog was at large for the second time for a day that he would start issuing tickets for their cats running town after he gives him a ticket for his dog being at large.
