REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING

December 1, 2025

 The City Council of the City of Woden met in regular session on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 6:00pm, Council Chambers.

 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Buns at 6:03pm.

 Council members present were: Bill Rout, Jeff Stucki, Andrew Plessel, Tip Piper and Dylan Brandt

 Absent: None

 

Piper made the motion to approve the agenda, minutes written for November 3, 2025, payment of bills totaling $26,588.72 and financial reports, Brandt seconded

  Ayes- 5                      Nays- 0            Motion Carried

 

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

Water Tower Repair:  Repair has not been completed yet.  Will revisit next month for update.

  

County Shed – Ball Diamond Usage: No further information obtained from the county yet.  Tabled until we hear back from the county.

 

 

                                                             NEW BUSINESS

 

Oaths of Office: Oaths of Office given to Mayor Paul Buns, Council Members Jeff Stucki, Andrew Plessel and Bill Rout.

 

Electric pole moving charge at Park by BB Courts – Community Center: The council agreed that the Community Club should not be responsible for the bill incurred in the moving of the Electric Pole located in the Park.  City will reimburse these funds.  Motion made by Stucki, 2nd by Piper

City Shed Main Street Doors – Single vs Double: The council Discussed the cost and benefit of changing the city shed to a single front door, and decided the cost vs the benefit was not justified, as there exists a larger door currently on the back of the shed that can perform any needed duties the larger front door would.

  

Open for discussion:

Discussed a Camper parked in the right of way that was interfering with snow removal.  Mayor Buns will talk to the owner about moving the vehicle.

Stucki brought up the pay of the City Clerk.  Council member Piper made a motion to raise the salary of the City Clerk to $23 per hour, Brandt 2nd.  A resolution will be drafted for the next meeting for final approval.
